The new roles are:

Head of Community
Lead SBGB’s Community Department, driving stakeholder engagement, inclusive participation, and strategic growth. Oversee EDI integration, adaptive skateboarding, and education outreach. Manage team development, budgets, and cross-organisational collaboration. Champion diversity through action plans and partnerships. Contribute to senior leadership, aligning all initiatives with SBGB’s values and long-term vision.

Safeguarding Lead
Lead SBGB’s safeguarding strategy, aligning with wellbeing and HR. Maintain policies, manage cases, and respond to disclosures. Deliver training, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive communications. Ensure compliance and proactive safeguarding across skateboarding. Support wider organisational tasks as needed.

Community Coaching Lead
Lead SBGB’s coach education strategy, delivering inclusive, high-quality learning aligned with skateboarding’s evolution. Manage planning, partnerships, and ethical coaching initiatives. Engage UK coaches, refresh content, and pursue personal development while supporting wider organisational goals and community impact.

Manage content across all channels, including website, social media, CRM, and MySkate app. Deliver marketing campaigns, build strategic partnerships, and oversee membership development. Use data insights to drive growth, retention, and effective multi-audience communication.
